Daily How Cool

I can't decide if I want to write some Haiku's for the words I missed over the weekend. Am I lame that this excites me so much?

jovial \JOH-vee-uhl\, adjective:
Merry; joyous; jolly; characterized by mirth or jollity.

Makes Me Jovial
Sunshine Upon My Shoulder
Makes Me Weep With Mirth

A John Denver rewrite, Japan style...

You're only as lame as Steve Verhey...who was qouted in the papaer the other day as saying (of biodiesel): "It's basically liquid sunshine". Heellloooo new age hippy...

That's awesome. Verhey's a good guy. I heard that in some of his early cell biology classes he had the students write haikus about the cellcycle. That kicks ass all over Wagner's silly gambling day.

Long live Stevey V!

I refer to Coors Light as "liquid sunshine". As in "bartender, more liquid sunshine" and "I drank 4 tall boys of liquid sunshine last night", which I did in fact do, and feeling it today - Bryan "Not 20 anymore" Jensen

Natalia was one of the haiku victims. He is a good dood, no doubt. He was refused tenure, and was thus canned, but the he researched the rules, and got back in on a technicality. I figure anyone wanting that bad to teach at Central should get a badge and a ream of letterhead. Fuckin A.

That's cool. I wonder what the techincality was. He was a good prof because he cared more about student's understanding the whole picture than just the nuts and bolts of things, which I think is pretty damned important. You can look up the nuts and bolts, but the understanding has to be...Understood.
