Over at Pete's site, you can see a nice picture of this Winter Carnival's ice palace - something they do every winter in Saranac Lake on the shore of Lake Flower. The palace is big - one of the blocks this year had a nice pike in it - can you see it?
The palace is built across the street from the Burger King, so you can enjoy fast food and the ice palace...

That's pretty cool. Too bad there isn't a close up. That thing looks huge.
It's medium size, about 1800 blocks. Big is over 2400 blocks. Each block weighs 600 lbs. Can't get closer and get it all in.
