Ephemera?

I think I used that word right.

'Atta boy!

If you're an audiophile like me, go here and waste time. ( I recommend Dio, Twisted Sister, A-Ha, Blur, The 'Hoff, Dre and Tupac, Cee-Lo, David Brent ((It's really all about Ricky Gervais from the British "The Office)), Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Journey (Probably my favorite video here), Lionel Richie, Kraftwerk, I was too afraid to look at the "Kidz Bopp" video at work but it sounds awesome, ODB, R Kelly for the out and out unintentional humor of that tuneless "Hip-Hopera", Radiohead (I think that's such a great idea for a video), Sigur Ros, Snoop, and finally...Van Halen. After you do that, do a search on YouTube for "Diamond, Behind the music" and "Supergrass, stereo."

Then go here, and watch the fighting baseball players video. Nolan Ryan and the catcher getting kicked are my personal highlights.

Watch this and thank god that those things eat french fries and things rather than people. Bloody rats of the avian world.

Finish up by reading this so you can grade my writing.

My apologies for my continued failure at Flickr'ing anything.

Q: How Many Existentialists Does It Take To Screw In A Lightbulb?

A: Fish

Why don't you go and play with this and stop bothering people?

I haven't bothered posting lately because I haven't had much to say. Neither have many of my blog friends - and it sure makes for a boring work week. Feel free to leave a comment with your three favorite movies/books/bands/albums/smurfs/variety's of fruit, and I'll leave comments letting you all know that I either A) Agree with your good taste; or B) Am completely surprised at what a closet moron/geek/weirdo you are. And maybe I'll share my top three something.

Brandon And The Amazing Technicolor Dream Contusion

Since no one else has been blogging much and I have to find ways to keep myself entertained between clogs in the sorter's nozzle, here's another shit post.

This thing appeared on my arm last Saturday. I don't remember taking a knock their, and it doesn't hurt, but it's a pretty impressive bruise, no? And this picture does no justice to the vivid hues seen in real life.

By the way, that's one free ticket to the gun show you all just got by looking at that picture.

I'm leaving tomorrow for aboot ten days - rugby in Saratoga, FACS course that starts Sunday in Maine, something like that. So I won't be making any shit posts next week, but I'll still be e-mailable. I also remain maleable, so bring your hammers.

Out.

Once Again, Without Feeling

While I'm posting links to other places and mentioning inane garbage instead of posting pictures like everyone seems to want, here's some mo'.

Last night on my way to practice, I saw a snapping turtle on the side of the road. Man was I excited - I'm a bit of a Herp nerd, and snapping turtles were one thing we didn't see (even though they've been introduced in Warshington) when I took herpetology. It was the first non-zoo or pet store snapper I've seen.

Alright, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't an Alligator Snapping Turtle, but it did look almost exactly like this. It was just sitting there, head jutting out, looking pissed off. I would have loved to have stopped and gotten a better look, or better yet snapped a picture, but I was late and had no camera with me.

And here's some reading material. Old men with moxie are some of the coolest creatures on earth. Check out what this guy attributes his longevity to. And if you don't like the damn foreign devils that answer tech calls and such, check out what they think of us. Fourth paragraph from the bottom. And judging by the geniuses I'm constantly bumping into, I think they've probably got it about right!

I'm Yoda, I'm A Soldier (Only Rhyme Yoda With Soldier - "Soljah")

We used to have to watch a metric assload of Richard Attenborough (Edit: It's Sir David Attenborough. I thought his name was David, but the site said Richard, and I'm quickly becoming one of the dupes that believes everything that's posted on the internet.) films in college (gee those 100 and 200 level BiSci courses were fun! Not really - except for the Attenborough films), and I always liked them, even though a lot of the other retards bitched about the old bastard, and even though plants were hardly ever mentioned (Plants CAN BE exciting!). Except for the episode with the arums and carnivorous plants. But somehow I missed seeing this one, and it's freaking amazing - wait until about halfway through for the real interesting stuff.

I have a headache.
